Scuba diving Nosy Be in Madagascar, MadaBlu Diving Center.
MADABLU OFFERS DIVES AND EXCURSIONS (SEA AND LAND), WITH THE INTENT OF MAKING YOU FULLY KNOW AND LOVE THIS ISLAND, FROM THE SEABED TO ITS CULTURE, RELIGION AND ANCESTRAL TRADITIONS.
In this small corner of the Indian Ocean everyone can dive and experience the fortune of being able to “access” the beauties of the hidden part of our planet: the underwater world.
Nosy Be has a variety of dive sites with different and constantly changing environments: Nature regulates seasons, tides, moon phases influencing currents, visibility, marine life.
Coral or rocky seabeds, walls, wrecks, caves, continental slopes, offer wide possibilities of choice.
You can dive carried by the current or swim in a “forest” of giant gorgonian fans, you can explore shipwrecks or look for naked schools and small benthic animals or even… be enchanted by mobulas that appear unexpectedly as they seem to fly in a liquid sky.
And what about the indescribable emotion of meeting the giants of the sea in some months of the year: whale sharks and humpback whales!!!
In fact, even the temperature of the sea and its richness in plankton have their importance: humpback whales choose the warm waters of Nosy Be at certain times of the year to reproduce and give birth, while the whale shark chooses the period richest in plankton to eat.
Sharing these experiences with nature offers great emotions and truly unique sensations.
Every dive into the underwater world hides “surprise” encounters that will be the protagonists of the stories that will enrich your experiences and your most beautiful memories.
The briefing takes place on the day of arrival. We collect personal equipment which will be returned at the end of the stay… we will take care of it and it will always be ready in the morning on the boat!
On the day of the dive we pick up the clients directly by boat on the beach of the hotel where they are staying. In the few cases where the hotel is very far away we organize taxis/shuttles departing from the diving site.
In the morning you do 2 dives with a surface interval of approximately 1 hour. With the exception of the periods in which there are whales and whale sharks: in these cases we use the break to go in search of these splendid creatures!
The choice of the dive spot of the week (sometimes even the next day) is made by evaluating tide phases, current coefficients, winds, diver skills… and trying to vary in any case in order to explore the various environments.
