It can only be reached by pirogue and covers an area of approximately 740 hectares.
The reserve protects the last strip of primary forest of Nosy Be, a dense and humid forest, an uncontaminated universe in which lemurs, chameleons, reptiles, insects and tropical birds live, creatures that make it a unique place.
The gateway to the Reserve is the village of Ampasipohi which we will reach by sea starting from the fishing village of Ambatozavavy .
